The conceptualization of Educational Technology that has been presented throughout its evolution, is applied in a decontextualized way, especially in the educational proposals of the countries of the south of the world, today with ICT. Since the 1990s, the concept of "Appropriate and Critical Educational Technology" has rescued on the one hand all the movements that were born in the 1980s in England that incorporate these lines and, the revaluation of unconventional resources for education.
School tools and platforms
Nowadays we have different tools and platforms that we can use in the classrooms, whether for communication with our students, monitoring or even evaluating different skills. The platforms allow us to apply E-Lerning techniques but for this to be fulfilled, they need to meet minimum characteristics, such as:
Trading platforms. They refer to the platforms that you must pay for them to use.
Tem-free software platform. They refer to those that are free for everyone. A widely used example today is Moodle. .
Sted-own software platform. They are those that are developed and implemented within the school itself. As an example you could cite Agora Virtual
