COMPUTER EVOLUTION


The first generation of computers covers from 1945 to 1958. They were built with valve electronics, they were programmed in a machine language


The second generation (1959, 1964) of transistors, replacing valves with computer circuits



Third generation (1964, 1971) replaced the second generation by introducing a way of programming that still 
remains today

Fourth generation (1971) The reduced size of the microprocessor chip made possible the creation of personal
 computers (PCs)

Fifth generation (1975)
